Conference All-State
For four consecutive years, selected string students from Peru Central participated in the Conference All-State Music Festival at the annual NYSSMA Winter Conference held in Rochester, NY. In the previous spring, these students performed level 6 All-State solos as an audition for conference and received perfect scores. Students selected for this festival are the top musicians from all over New York state. These students spent hours of rehearsal in an orchestra with a guest conductor during the conference. The weekend culminated with a performance and students were left with an experience of a lifetime.
