EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY

As a teacher, I live for teachable moments. I push my students to strive for the best that they can be and more, while guiding them to make educated choices to pave their path to being successful individuals, artists, and musicians. I exercise their minds and abilities so they are prepared for the next level of education and experiences.

Children’s needs must be acknowledged. Each child must be allowed to reach his or her potential, and we as teachers are the ones who can help them get there. We as teachers communicate to our students in many ways. Our lifelong learning is a privilege that teachers can share with our students.

BE UNIQUE,
BE YOURSELF

There is no right way or wrong way. It’s how we perceive the world that defines who we are and how we are a piece of the puzzle, the bigger picture.

BE CONSISTENT WHILE STRIVING FOR MORE

There should be no limitations. If there is a will, there is a way. Never stop learning.

BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF AND OTHERS

It is not a race. Time, dedication, persistence, and determination is what molds our students and develops a strong-minded individual.

“Mrs. Fitzsimmons has given us her heart and passion towards music while teaching us how to communicate and express ourselves through our instrument``
